fusion-medical-animation-rnr8D3FNUNY-uns

Please be advised of the policies for this office. The following policies and procedures apply to current and future clients. By booking your appointment and completing and signing your intake form, you are stating that you accept these policies.

As we should all know by now, COVID-19 is a communicable virus strain that is spread through an infected person (who may or may not be symptomatic) through:

  • the air by coughing, sneezing, talking

  • close personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands

  • touching an object or surface with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes

The health and wellness of our community is of the upmost importance. In addition to my already rigorous adherence to Standard Universal Precautions, these are the procedures I am taking to ensure the safety of all, and to align with state orders, public health authorities, and governing board recommendations.

  • As of March 2021, we now have a water jug dispenser, and recycled disposable cups for use, if need be. We still ask that clients bring their own water bottles. We will also be offering Hot tea that you can take with you after your session.

  • Bathrooms are cleaned everyday.

  • We will continue to sanitize the entire room, all the equipment and anything that is touched by the client or therapist before, and after each client.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the space.

  • We ask you to hang out in the lobby down stairs until 5 minutes before your session, so we can insure the room has been fully sanitized and is ready for you. If you need to use the bathroom, text your therapist and they will bring you a key.

  • We will continue to practice thoroughly washing our hands, arms, elbows and feet before and after each session.

  • We will continue to practice social distancing and adhering to our health and wellness pre-cautions. *As of June 30, 2021 the mask mandate has been lifted. We will be leaving masks up to the clients comfort. If you wish for us to wear a mask, we will be happy to do so.

  • We have no-contact payment options such as; Cash App and Venmo, and we will still be accepting cash and credit cards.

Please make sure you are healthy when visiting our space. If you or anyone you have been in close contact with has been exposed to COVID-19, please refrain from visiting our studio space for at least 14 days from your last day of contact. Also, please stay home if you have any symptoms of cold or flu.

Following is what will be asked of you:

  • Before each session you will be asked to update your intake forms with the new COVID-19 pre-screening questions. You will receive an email with a link to the form, or you can log into your massagebook account, and fill it out. It is all electronic, so you don't have to worry about printing anything off.

  • As stated before, we have a water jug dispenser, and recyclable, disposable cups if needed, but still ask that clients bring their own water containers.

  • We ask you to please follow respiratory etiquette: cover coughs and sneezes.

  • Please maintain social distancing (6 feet minimum) between yourself and others while in common spaces in the building.

Cancellation: amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, we have modified our cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all our clients. We hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule due to not feeling well, we understand and request for you to please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations due to illness at this time.

Tardiness: appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time to your appointment.

Sickness: Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived.
