COVID-19 Rules & Regulations

Please be advised of the policies for this office. The following policies and procedures apply to current and future clients. By booking your appointment and completing and signing your intake form, you are stating that you accept these policies.

As we should all know by now, COVID-19 is a communicable virus strain that is spread through an infected person (who may or may not be symptomatic) through:

  • the air by coughing, sneezing, talking

  • close personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands

  • touching an object or surface with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes

The health and wellness of our community is of the upmost importance. In addition to my already rigorous adherence to Standard Universal Precautions, these are the procedures I am taking to ensure the safety of all, and to align with state orders, public health authorities, and governing board recommendations.

  • The space has been deeply cleansed and sanitized, from deep cleaning of the carpets, to removing of all unnecessary items, such as magazines, newspapers, service menus, snacks, and beverages. As of March 2021, we now have a water jug dispenser, and recycled disposable cups for use, if need be. We still ask that clients bring their own water bottles.

  • The space has a private bathroom as well which allows for complete social distancing from anyone other than your therapist!

  • The space has been equipped with a brand-new air-purifier, and I will continue to air out the room in between each client

  • We will continue to sanitize the entire room, all the equipment and anything that is touched by the client or therapist before, and after each client.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the space.

  • We have closed down the waiting area, and are asking clients to wait in their cars or outside, and to text upon arrival. Once room has been fully sanitized and is ready for you, we will text you and then meet you on the porch to take your temperature and escort you to the room.

  • We will continue to practice thoroughly washing our hands, arms, and elbows before and after each session.

  • We ensure that the other therapists in the building are taking every pre-caution possible as well.

  • We will continue to practice social distancing, wearing our masks and adhering to our health and wellness pre-cautions. *As of June 30, 2021 the mask mandate has been lifted. We as a facility will continue to keep the common areas requiring masks, so please have a mask on you. If you don't have a mask, we have disposable masks for you. Once in the studio space, if you are fully vaccinated, you are welcome to remove your mask if it makes you more comfortable.

  • We have no-contact payment options such as; Cash App and Venmo, and we will still be accepting cash and credit cards.

Please make sure you are healthy when visiting our space. If you or anyone you have been in close contact with has been exposed to COVID-19, please refrain from visiting our studio space for at least 14 days from your last day of contact. Also, please stay home if you have any symptoms of cold or flu.

Following is what will be asked of you:

  • Before each session you will be asked to update your intake forms with the new COVID-19 pre-screening questions. You will receive an email with a link to the form, or you can log into your massagebook account, and fill it out. It is all electronic, so you don't have to worry about printing anything off.

  • Everyone who enters the building is required to wear a mask.

  • Your temperature will be taken via infrared upon entering the space.

  • We will meet you at the front door to take your temperature and escort you into the studio, where we will then ask you to wash your hands.

  • Those of you who have vehicles, we ask that you leave all personal items in your vehicle, and bring in as little items as possible. Those walking or taking public transit we understand this is impossible, and therefore just ask you to be mindful.

  • As stated before, we have a water jug dispenser, and recyclable, disposable cups if needed, but still ask that clients being their own water containers.

  • We ask you to please follow respiratory etiquette: cover coughs and sneezes.

  • Please maintain social distancing (6 feet minimum) between yourself and others while in common spaces in the building.
